Operations Manager
Pedro manages VLG’s operations efficiently and provides all of our needed client support services. This jack of all trades has also completed three full marathons so far… so catch him if you can!
We asked Pedro to tell us more about himself…
What’s does your job entail on a daily basis?
My job activities usually vary on a daily basis but I mainly perform a variety of administrative and accounting operations for the firm.
When are our clients likely to meet you? What will you be doing for them?
I maintain all of our client files and coordinate billing on behalf of all clients.
Other than English, what language skills do you have and at what level (i.e. fluent / conversational etc.)?
I can speak/read/write fluently in Spanish.
Where were you educated and what qualifications did you earn?
I obtained my bachelors in Astrophysics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Prior to joining Vokshori Law Group, what previous, relevant, positions did you hold?
I held an administrative assistant position at UCLA where I helped with daily financial operations and customer support.
What causes do you support? Do you do any charity or community work?
What’s the best thing about working at Vokshori Law Group?
The best thing about Vokshori Law Group is the friendly environment and supportive coworkers. Everyone works diligently and professionally to ensure we are doing everything we can to help our clients. Oh, and the occasional free tacos!
What prompted you to join Vokshori Law Group?
I’m an advocate for the underrepresented and disadvantaged. Being able to be part of a team that helps families fight financial hurdles is a huge plus for me.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to exercise. Whether it’s playing sports, going to the gym or any outdoor actives, sign me up.
If you had total financial freedom and didn’t have to work, what would you do and why?
I would travel and attempt to experience all the different cultures and cuisines around the world.
What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment? (This can be a professional or personal achievement)
My greatest accomplishment so far is being the first generation in my family to graduate from a University.
What’s your favorite movie of all time?
“Inception” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. This jigsaw puzzle of a movie is a mash up of sci-fi, action and espionage that touches upon notions of subconscious and memory. It also leaves the end open to interpretation, and does a great job in bringing my inner geek.
What book are you reading at the moment?
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
What’s your ‘Claim to Fame’?
I would say winning a H.S. District wide scholarship. I was hand picked among all senior students from all schools within my district.
What’s your favorite quote?
“If there is a will, there is a way” I like to believe that hard work always triumphs over any hurdle life can throw at you.
